I bet you didn’t know that narcissists have a lot of hidden things in their homes. And I’m going to talk about five things that narcissists have in their homes that you don’t even know about. So, let me dive right into this.
First of all, understand this: when you’re dealing with a narcissist, they are filled with secrets, and they’re not open, transparent people. So, they’re always going to be hiding something. And sometimes, they have these kinds of things in their house, and you may come across them and be shocked.
So, what’s the first thing that a narcissist would hide in their home?
1. Hidden Communication
Well, they’d hide another phone. Yeah, most narcissists have a secret phone somewhere in the house, or it could be in their car. That is their Hoover phone. That’s their phone that they contact all the other supply on, and you don’t even have any clue about this. And what a narcissist will do is they’ll say, “Oh, you could check my phone.” They’ll show you their phone, and they’ve either deleted everything off it, or they have another phone that has all their other supply on.
So, in a narcissist’s home, nine times out of ten, there’s going to be a secret phone hidden somewhere.
2. Stashed Financial Assets
What’s the second thing that narcissists hide in their home? A lot of narcissists have a stash of money hidden somewhere. And the thing is, they’ll sit there and play like they’re broke. They have no money. They’ll have you spend money on everything, and meanwhile, they have a stash of money somewhere in their house.
They don’t usually like to put their money in the banks because there’s a record of that. And they don’t ever want anybody to see a record of that because they could get sued. They don’t ever want anybody to know they have money. Because they also love to play the victim card, and they milk other people for their money, and then they hold on to their money.
So, understand this: when you’re dealing with a narcissist, nine times out of ten, they have money, a stash of money hidden somewhere in their house.
3. Substance Use
What’s the third thing that narcissists have hidden in their homes? What do you think they hide?
Well, a lot of them are addicts, and you don’t know it. So, they’re going to have drugs or alcohol hidden in their homes. A lot of narcissists are pill poppers, and you don’t even know they’re pill poppers. And you may come across pills under the bed or in a drawer, and you’re like, “What is this?” And you can’t understand it.
Or they may have bottles of alcohol under the bed, in the garage, or in the basement because they may be drinking when you’re not around, and they’re a closet alcoholic. Yeah, a lot of narcissists are closet alcoholics, closet pill poppers.
They love to numb themselves out because narcissists are depressed, anxious people, and they don’t want to feel any kind of pain. They don’t want to feel any kind of stress, and they don’t want you to generally know about these addictions that they have.
So, they will hide it somewhere in the house. And if you’re cleaning up or the narcissist isn’t around, you may come across these things.
4. Weapons and Paranoia
What’s the next thing that narcissists have hidden in their homes? Weapons. Okay, a lot of narcissists have weapons in their homes.
Now, people may say, “Well, there’s nothing wrong with that. I have a weapon in my home.” I’m not saying everybody who has weapons in their homes is a narcissist. But narcissists are especially paranoid, so they will definitely have some sort of weapon hidden somewhere. Every narcissist that I knew always had a weapon in their home.
Because they feel that today or tomorrow, somebody’s going to come after them, or they’re just paranoid and feel safer if they have a weapon. They’ve also burned a lot of bridges and hurt a lot of people. So, narcissists know that today or tomorrow, somebody may come and knock on their door or show up.
And a narcissist never wants to be put in a position of vulnerability. So, they’re going to have weapons somewhere in the home. They may have firearms, they may have knives, they may have any kind of taser. You name it. Because the narcissist is especially paranoid that somebody’s going to come and get them.
5. P0rnogr@phy and Intimacy.
What’s the next thing that narcissists have hidden in their home? Well, this is a given. They have tons of p0rn.
Some of them may even have s£x tapes of them with their other supplies. They love to tape s£x, and they love to have all of these things in their home. They keep a collection of their past s£x partners, or even just p0rn paraphernalia. So, a lot of times, in a narcissist’s home, there’s some kind of p0rn, or it may be some kind of extreme p0rn, because sometimes narcissists are into very unusual types of s£xµal acts, and they may have some kind of weird fetish or unusual type of p0rn somewhere in the home.
What’s the next thing that a narcissist has hidden in their home?
A lot of them have s£x toys. Now, this is again for the people that come back at me and say, “Well, I have s£x toys, and I’m not a narcissist.” We’re not talking about that. We’re talking about a narcissist who deliberately hides things because they’re living a secret life. Like, I had a client who was dating somebody, and she found butt plugs and all these other s£x toys in his suitcase because he was living a whole other secret life behind her back.
So, in a narcissist’s home, they may have certain kinds of s£x toys; only they don’t tell you about these things. They keep them hidden because, again, they live a secret life. Maybe they have people over when you’re not around, or they’re going out and doing other things, freaky things, and they’re living a whole other freaky life that you don’t know about.
Even secret lingerie. Female covert narcissists will have secret lingerie, because a lot of them are very promiscuous. And I actually had a male client who told me how he found lingerie that she never wore with him. So, they have all these different things. They’re living this secret life. They’re going to have lingerie hidden, s$x toys hidden, pictures hidden, and you’re going to have no idea that this person is doing these things behind your back.
6. Surveillance Equipment
You have to be careful when you go into a narcissist’s home because they could have secret cameras around. They’re paranoid, and they love to tape you. They love to watch you, and they hope that they can use it later on against you in some sort of way. Maybe if you start to react, start yelling and screaming at them, they may have a secret camera somewhere, just ready to set you up, film you, so that they can show everybody else. Or they may have secret cameras for s£x. They like to film it, watch it later, show their friends, or upload it to p0rn sites.
7. Life Insurance and Closure
And the last secret thing a narcissist could have hidden in their house is life insurance policies. Nobody talks about this, but a narcissist could take out a life insurance policy on their partners, and they may not even have a clue about what’s going on. So, they may have secret life insurance policies. This could involve a dangerous narcissist, like a malignant or covert malignant narcissist.
This is something you may see on Dateline or 48 Hours, where their partner gets murdered, and later on, they find out that the narcissist had taken out a secret life insurance policy on them to try to get money after murdering them. They could have secret life insurance policies on you. Be careful of anybody who’s got a life insurance policy on you.
So, these are all the things that narcissists hide in their homes: phones that you don’t know about, money, drugs, alcohol, p0rn, weapons, lingerie, s£x toys, cameras, and life insurance policies.
And the reason it’s different from anybody else is because they’re doing it secretly to work against you. They don’t want you to know about these things because they portray one image, and then they have a whole other side to themselves that they don’t want other people to see.
