Discard Phase.
“Stop texting me.”
“I’m going to block you.”
“Why are you still after me?”
“Congratulations, you got what you want.”
“I’m going to bring you down.”
“I’m going to make sure no one ever believes you.”
“I’m going to make sure everyone sees you for who you are.”
“I will do everything in my power to make sure you never get what you want.”
You start seeing a person you never would have believed existed. They do things you never thought they would do. When you call them out, they say, “I didn’t do that,” or “We had an agreement,” and you’re thinking, “We never had an agreement.”
Your head is spinning. You can’t believe this is the same person you knew during the love-bombing phase.

Hoovering Phase.
You won’t hear from them for six months. After everything that happened, after all the horrible things, you’ve moved on with your life. You don’t even think about them anymore.
Then suddenly, in your DMs or texts, you get, “Hey.”
Or, “Hey, how’s it going?”
Or, “Hey, I heard our song.”
Something random. Something small. Boom. They’re checking for supply.
Do I still have power over you? Can I reel you back in?
Those are the kinds of text messages you’ll get from narcissists. This is just a thin slice. I could easily do parts 2 through 10.
If you’ve seen more of these, I’d love to see them in the comments. Let’s have a field day with this. You have to be able to laugh about it.
